Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
Fyte collects information to provide, maintain, and improve our services. Depending on how you use the app, we and our service partners may collect:
- Account information (optional): If you choose to sign in, we may receive your name and email address (for example, through Sign in with Apple on iOS or Google Sign-In on Android). You may also use the app without creating an account.
- Profile content (optional): A profile photo you choose to upload, stored on your device.
- Device and app identifiers: Device type, operating system, app version, push notification tokens (APNs on iOS, FCM on Android), and device identifiers used for app functionality and notifications.
- Advertising identifiers: On iOS, if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) may be used by our advertising and analytics partners. If you deny permission, advertising identifiers are not used for cross-app tracking.
- Usage and interaction data: App launches, screens viewed, features used, subscription status, and interactions with ads (for users who are not Fyte Pro subscribers).
- Purchase history: Subscription and in-app purchase status (such as whether you have an active Fyte Pro subscription). Payment card or bank details are processed only by Apple or Google; Fyte does not receive or store your payment credentials.
- Approximate location: Our advertising partners may infer an approximate region (for example, from IP address) to deliver and measure ads. Fyte does not collect precise GPS location from your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the Fyte application, including Live Activities and push notifications on supported devices
- Manage optional account features and profile settings
- Process and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions through Apple or Google
- Register your device for notifications and Pro subscription features on our servers
- Display advertising to non‑Pro users and measure ad performance
- Measure app installs, app usage, and subscription conversions for advertising and analytics (including through Meta App Events on iOS)
- Improve our services, reliability, and user experience
- Ensure app security and prevent fraud
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the following categories of recipients:
- Infrastructure and backend providers: For example, cloud hosting and database services used to deliver app content, store device registration data, and operate notifications.
- Advertising partners: Including Google (AdMob) to show ads to non‑Pro users, and Meta (Facebook) on iOS to measure app events, installs, and subscription conversions for advertising and analytics.
- Platform providers: Apple and Google, for authentication, in‑app purchases, push notifications, and platform services.
- Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- With your consent: When you explicitly authorize us to do so.
Third‑party partners process data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of Google, Meta, and Apple.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Secure authentication and access controls
- Regular security assessments and updates
- Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to:
- Provide our services to you
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
- Improve our services
You may request deletion of your data at any time through the app settings.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:

- Portability: Receive your data in a portable format, where applicable by law
- Notifications: Disable push notifications in your device or app settings
- Restriction: Limit how we process your information, where applicable by law
Advertising and tracking choices (iOS): You can control whether apps may request to track you in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you deny tracking, Fyte and its partners will not use your IDFA for cross‑app advertising measurement. You may still see ads, but they may be less relevant.
Advertising choices: Fyte Pro subscribers do not see in‑app advertising. Non‑Pro users may limit ad personalization through their device settings and the options provided by Google and Meta in their respective privacy settings.
7. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
Fyte uses third‑party SDKs to display ads and measure advertising performance:
- Google AdMob: Displays ads to users without an active Fyte Pro subscription. AdMob may collect device identifiers, ad interaction data, and approximate location to serve and measure ads. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- Meta App Events (iOS): We use the Meta (Facebook) SDK to automatically log events such as app installs, app launches, and in‑app purchases/subscriptions for advertising measurement and campaign optimization. On iOS 14.5 and later, this uses the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) only if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. See Meta Privacy Policy.
These partners may combine data collected in Fyte with data from other apps and websites for advertising and measurement purposes when permitted by your device settings and applicable law.
8. Third-Party Services
Our app integrates with third-party services, including:
- Apple (iOS): App Store, StoreKit subscriptions, Sign in with Apple, Apple Push Notification Service (APNs), and Live Activities
- Google (Android): Google Play Billing, Google Sign-In (where available), Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications, and Google AdMob
- Meta (iOS): App Events SDK for advertising measurement
- Cloud infrastructure: Backend services used to deliver UFC event data, rankings, news, and device registration for notifications
Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We do not control how third parties process data once it is shared with them.
9. Children's Privacy
Fyte is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and implement appropriate safeguards to protect your information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:
- Posting the new policy in the app

Your continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new policy.

Fyte does not sell personal information. We share data with advertising partners as described in this policy for advertising measurement purposes, which may constitute “sharing” under California law. You may contact us at contact@fyte.live to exercise your rights.
